Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Fidelia Nitah, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders, including medication management and MAT when appropriate.

With over a decade of experience, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space and delivering personalized, culturally sensitive care. I also serve as a graduate nursing educator and am committed to promoting mental health awareness.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and supported. Together, we develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals using evidence-based care, which may include medication management, education, and supportive therapy.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, insomnia, and substance use disorders, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). My goal is to help you achieve lasting mental wellness through respectful, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, confidential, and judgment-free environment where we take the time to get to know you. We’ll discuss your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. Together, we’ll develop a personalized care plan and discuss treatment options, including medication if appropriate. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and hopeful about your path toward improved mental wellness.
