Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s going on without feeling judged, rushed, or like you have to have everything figured out first.

I work collaboratively with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and major life transitions. My style is warm and compassionate, and I often use humor that creates a relaxed, safe space to discuss whatever is going on in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so we’ll work together to understand what’s contributing to the challenges you’re experiencing and determine what feels most helpful for you.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, IFS, and trauma-informed care. Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may involve developing practical tools, exploring patterns and underlying beliefs, processing difficult experiences, or simply having a space to slow down and make sense of what you’re going through.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you’d like to be different, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll also ask questions about your background and what has shaped your experiences so I can better understand the bigger picture.
