Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience in outpatient behavioral health and healthcare leadership in Hawaiʻi. I work with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and difficulties with self-esteem or emotional well-being.

I believe people are capable of growth and resilience, even during difficult periods of life. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward lives that feel more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with their values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, goal-oriented, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based interventions.

Together, we identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, build new skills, and develop strategies to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, strengths, and goals so we can develop a plan that fits your needs.

Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, and there is no expectation to have everything figured out. My hope is that you leave the first session with a clearer understanding of your challenges and a sense of direction for moving forward.
