Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am so glad you are taking this step toward prioritizing your mental well-being. What you should know about me is that I show up to our sessions as my authentic self: warm, gently direct, and always welcoming a little humor to help us navigate the heavy moments. Whether you are managing stress, facing a tough life transition, or seeking deeper self-understanding, we will tailor our approach to fit your unique needs. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel totally comfortable exploring your thoughts, and I look forward to partnering with you on this journey.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you discover the powerful connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My approach is warm and highly collaborative, providing a comfortable space where we can gently explore any thought patterns that might be holding you back. Rather than just focusing on the past, we will concentrate on the present by equipping you with practical, everyday tools to navigate your current challenges. We will work side-by-side to set meaningful goals, quiet your inner critic, and build healthier habits that truly serve your well-being. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you with lifelong skills, so you can step into your future feeling confident, resilient, and ready to enjoy a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a relaxed, introductory meeting designed simply for us to get to know one another without any pressure. We will use this time to talk about what brings you to therapy and discuss your background so I can better understand your story. We will complete some housekeeping items such as confidentiality. I will also explain a bit more about how our CBT approach works and gladly answer any questions you might have about the process. By the end of our meeting, we will discuss some initial goals to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in moving forward together.
