Great to meet you!

Some things don't resolve on their own, no matter how much time passes or how hard you've tried to move on.

I'm Rob, a licensed counselor working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and anger. Over my career I've worked with people from practically every background and walk of life, from school age kids and teenagers to adults navigating some of the hardest chapters of their lives. I take seriously that the path forward looks different for everyone, and I'll meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

Our sessions are focused on real progress. We work through what's most stuck and I give you concrete tools to carry into your daily life, not just insight you have to figure out how to apply on your own.

My path to this work wasn't a straight line. I started in biological research, but my wife and I chose to redirect our lives toward working with people struggling emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. One of our early experiences was at Pine Ridge Reservation, and what I learned there about resilience and the capacity for change has stayed with me ever since. My approach integrates my Christian faith with evidence informed trauma care, and I bring decades of experience across diverse communities and circumstances. I genuinely believe you can't change your history, but you can absolutely change how it shapes you going forward.

This work tends to suit people who are ready to engage meaningfully: not looking for shortcuts, but willing to show up and do the work alongside someone who brings everything they have to the table.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation. I want to understand where you are and what's brought you here, with no pressure to share more than you're ready to. Together we'll map out what a realistic path forward could look like.

Whether you're reaching out for yourself, your child, or your teenager, I'd be glad to connect. Reach out when you're ready.
