Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels safe, collaborative, and deeply human. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct, and I work to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while also being gently challenged toward growth. I draw from an integrative, holistic framework that includes psychodynamic exploration, systems therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, EMDR, and humanistic-existential approaches. This allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, attachment wounds, emotional dysregulation, burnout, self-worth concerns, or major life transitions. I have worked extensively with individuals facing complex trauma, personality-related challenges, adoption, migration, and recovery from human and sexual trafficking. For organizations, I also provide Mental Health and Psychosocial Support services.

My approach to therapy

With over 13 years of experience across the U.S., South America, and Africa, I offer a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, attachment wounds, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, burnout, and life transitions. My work is grounded in the belief that healing and growth are possible when therapy honors both your story and your strengths. I tailor each session to your goals, pace, and needs, while helping you better understand the patterns, beliefs, and survival strategies that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we work toward greater insight, emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is about creating a safe, supportive space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Whether you are coming in for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, burnout, attachment concerns, or a difficult life transition, we will begin exploring what feels most important and outline a path that feels right for you. I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I approach our first meeting with warmth, curiosity, and respect. My role is to listen closely, help you feel comfortable, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you leave with a sense of clarity, hope, and direction.
