Great to meet you!

If anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity questions, or a difficult life transition has been weighing on you, you do not have to sort through it alone. I support adults and seniors in individual therapy, in both English and Spanish. I also work with concerns such as PTSD, substance use, sleep difficulties, LGBTQIA+ and transgender concerns, cultural and ethnic issues, relationships, anger, panic, men's issues, diabetes, and end-of-life care.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and LPCMH with nine years of experience. I earned an M.Ed. from Lehigh University and a bachelor's degree from Cedar Crest College. My background includes individual and group therapy, integrated behavioral health, community wellness, and work in dual-diagnosis clinics with people experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns related to trauma.

My approach to therapy

I take a multicultural, trauma-informed approach that respects your identity, culture, and lived experience. I aim to create a welcoming, inclusive space where you can speak openly and feel treated with compassion and respect. I work collaboratively, so we can choose practical tools that fit your goals, needs, and pace.

I am trained in EMDR and am pursuing international EMDRIA certification. Depending on what you are working through, I may draw from approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative, psychodynamic, somatic, experiential, emotion-focused, attachment-based family therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other evidence-based techniques.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are a chance to feel heard, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and work together on next steps. You may leave with clearer language for your emotions and experiences, a better understanding of patterns that affect your relationships or well-being, and strategies to practice between sessions. My goal is to support your emotional and cognitive development while keeping care collaborative, respectful, and grounded in your whole person
