Gabriel Rueda

I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina; and I'm licensed in other states as well (i.e. NY, SC, FL, and PR). I have a Master's Degree in Counseling. My experiences include helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, self-esteem issues, men's and women's issues, cultural issues, anger management, traumatic experiences, and those uncomfortable moments when you sense something is not right and cannot figure out what's troubling you.

My approach to psychotherapy is based on a holistic model; treating the whole person mind, body and spirit. I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities and theories to best serve the needs and goals of my patients. These include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Behavior Modification, Motivational Interviewing; and Christian Counseling as it fits.

Life can be very challenging at times, and sometimes we are not prepared to handle those unexpected changes. My eighteen years of experience as a psychotherapist have equipped me to accompany and work with individuals who are going through these challenging times. My compassion, warmth, empathy, wisdom, and knowledge will be utilized in sessions to focus in the process of meeting the needs and goals of my clients.
