Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 38 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life challenges. My background includes work with children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals with developmental disabilities, chronic behavioral health concerns, and complex support needs.
I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. My clinical training included work in children’s residential settings and with veterans at the VA Hospital in Dallas.
Throughout my career, I have served clients navigating mental health concerns, substance use, trauma histories, homelessness, chronic medical conditions, and barriers to care. I have held clinical, supervisory, managerial, and executive roles, including 12 years with the AIDS Outreach Center in Fort Worth during a pivotal period in the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
I have also provided home-based counseling for adults with cardiac, geriatric, and chronic behavioral health needs, including anxiety-related conditions, hoarding behaviors, somatic seizure disorders, and psychotic symptoms.
Since 2010, I have provided telephonic coaching and case management through Cigna Behavioral Health/Evernorth for clients experiencing chronic mental health conditions, substance use concerns, eating disorders, major depression, and developmental barriers.
