Great to meet you!

My name is Denise Hill. I am a Therapist with 16 years of experience. My client is the best guide since generalizations miss the mark. A single person’s experience is exactly like someone else's. There are vast differences that relate to life events, identity, power, and privilege. I’m interested in your experience and in learning what barriers may impede your success, sense of self-worth, and happiness.

My approach to therapy

My first goal is to assist clients in identifying their concerns and what they hope to achieve in therapy. Another is to create a trusting rapport that facilitates success in managing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I use a range of modalities including interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavior therapy.

What you can expect from me

Once you’ve initiated therapy you’ve already accomplished what to many is the hardest part – so give yourself a pat on the back and count yourself as courageous for identifying an area of your life for which you’re seeking professional assistance.

When you’re ready to move forward with your identified intention, I am here to support, encourage and empower you. Together, you and I can partner to overcome, impact, or work around barriers and hurdles so that you can have your best life!
