Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with more than 25 years of experience helping adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you recognize your strengths, build self-esteem, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change. I offer compassionate, personalized counseling for personal growth, life transitions, emotional well-being, and relationship concerns, including couples and premarital counseling. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey toward greater confidence, healing, and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized to each client’s unique needs and goals. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported while exploring challenges and identifying their strengths. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and DBT to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve self-esteem, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy is a partnership, and my role is to walk alongside you, provide guidance and support, and help you build the confidence and skills to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin putting the puzzle pieces together. We’ll talk about your background, family, school, relationships, life experiences, and any challenges you’re currently facing. I’ll listen for patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to better understand you as a whole person—not simply focus on the issue that brought you to therapy. Toward the end of our session, we’ll work together to identify what matters most to you and decide what you would like to focus on in therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident about the path forward.
