Great to meet you!

Jerry is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Maryland and a U.S. Navy veteran. He earned his masters in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a residency focused on mood disorders and the bipolar spectrum. Jerry had extensive experience with adults, geriatrics, and adolescents in inpatient and crisis settings. With over 10 years in health care, he is dedicated working collaboratively with patients to support their mental health goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach prioritizes identifying and understanding the underlying psychiatric condition rather than simply managing symptoms which often leads to over medication. I focus on achieving diagnostic clarity, particularly for mood disorders. This allows for a targeted, individualized treatment plan that promotes long-term stability and resilience, empowering patients to build a strong foundation for lasting mental health.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative environment focused on understanding their unique needs and achieving clarity around their diagnosis and treatment plan.
