Great to meet you!

For the past 14 years, I've had the privilege of helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've worked as an outpatient therapist, a therapist in a walk-in crisis clinic, and as a psychiatric clinician in the emergency department, providing crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. I also have extensive experience working with Veterans, service members, and their families. These experiences have reinforced my belief that even during life's darkest moments, people have an incredible capacity to heal, grow, and rediscover their strengths with the right support.

I primarily work with adults and help clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship concerns, sleep difficulties, life transitions, and other mental health challenges.

I also have a special appreciation for the unique challenges faced by Veterans, service members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others in high-stress careers. Those who spend their lives helping or protecting others often carry burdens they rarely feel comfortable sharing. Therapy offers a place where you can set those burdens down, process your experiences, and focus on your own well-being without judgment.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two sons, and our two Labrador Retrievers. I also enjoy traveling, reading history, camping, and spending time outdoors.

My approach to therapy

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and asking for help isn't always easy. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone. My goal is to provide a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and begin moving toward the life you want.

I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. Therapy isn't about being judged or told what to do—it's about working together to understand what's getting in the way and finding practical, lasting solutions that fit your life.

Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy to your individual needs. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build practical coping skills, and create a path toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

If you're considering therapy, I'd welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your specific needs and goals for therapy. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply looking for support during a difficult time, we'll work together to better understand what's going on, identify your strengths, and develop practical strategies that help you move forward.
