Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health professional with over 13 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I completed my graduate training in clinical mental health and have continued to develop my expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and relational approaches through ongoing professional development and clinical practice across a variety of settings.

My work focuses on relationship and family dynamics, including communication challenges, conflict, trust issues, parenting concerns, and life transitions. I also support individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm that impact their relationships and daily functioning. I work with a diverse range of clients, including traditional and nontraditional couples, blended and chosen families, and people from varied cultural backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and CBT-informed, with a strong focus on practical, real-world change. I work with individuals, couples, and families to identify unhelpful patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop more effective ways of communicating, coping, and relating.

I believe therapy works best when it is both supportive and active, so I integrate skill-building, reflection, and goal-setting throughout the process. Sessions are tailored to each client’s needs and may include tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, communication training, and relational interventions depending on what is most helpful.

At the core of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, engaged, and equipped with strategies they can use beyond the therapy room. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where clients can gain insight and make lasting improvements in their relationships and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relationships, and relevant history to get a clear sense of your situation and what you hope to change or improve. This is also a space for you to share your goals, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work.

We will begin identifying key themes and priorities for treatment and discuss a general direction for our work together. My approach is collaborative and paced according to your comfort, so you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are heard and respected.

By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of next steps and how we can work together toward meaningful, practical change.
