I am a LPC, virtual telehealth provider at Headway. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Oregon and my master's degree in child/adolescent/family therapy. I have over 26 years of experience working with individuals and families with a wide range of mental health issues and disorders. I am a certified advanced ADHD specialist and provide comprehensive evaluation for children/teens/adults, providing treatment recommendations and individual & family support to help manage symptoms within home/school/workplace/relationships. I also provide diagnostic clarifications within differential diagnostics for clarification on accurate diagnosis; differentiate between ADHD/ASD/Mood Disorder-Bipolar/trauma-PTSD/OCD/Anxiety Disorder/Specific phobia/social anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I aim to build a transparent, genuine, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship with clients and families, in order to provide a safe space to begin a journey of self-exploration, healing and self-actualization. I am [passionate about helping others become more self-aware and mindful to increase understanding to process emotions and experiences from past/previous beliefs and learned patterns of behavior that have a negative impact on functioning & success, with an overall goal of improving & thriving within all areas of life and within relationships.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we can look at what's happening in your life/family as a whole- your thoughts, emotions, relationships and overall well-being. I'll take the timer to learn about you and how you are affected emotionally/emotionally/physically. I take a holistic approach, which means we will focus ongoing on sleep/nutrition/stress/self care/patterns in daily life. This first session is about getting to know each other and starting to build a path towards greater self-awareness and inner harmony.
