Great to meet you!

I’m Gina Helms, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping people heal from emotional wounds, develop healthier relationships, and experience lasting personal growth.

I specialize in childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, narcissistic abuse, codependency, anxiety, and emotional healing. I believe many of the struggles we face as adults are rooted in patterns and beliefs formed much earlier in life.

My passion is helping clients understand themselves, break free from unhealthy patterns, and develop the confidence and emotional health needed to create meaningful, fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe lasting change happens when we address the roots of our struggles, not just the symptoms.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and insight-oriented. Together, we explore how past experiences have shaped your beliefs, emotions, and relationships.

I help clients identify unhealthy patterns, develop emotional awareness, establish healthy boundaries, and replace limiting beliefs with healthier ways of thinking and living.

My goal is not simply to help you feel better temporarily, but to equip you with the understanding and tools to experience lasting transformation.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get acquainted in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment.

I’ll listen carefully to your story, explore what brought you to counseling, and help you begin identifying the challenges you want to address.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come. We’ll work together to establish meaningful goals and develop a path forward that fits your unique needs.

My desire is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibilities ahead.
