Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Gina Pazzaglia, PhD, LCSW, LADC, a licensed therapist with over 30 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and patterns rooted in early life experiences.

I use a variety of approaches with insight-oriented and trauma-informed work. I also help clients explore how unresolved experiences may show up as anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relational challenges, or ongoing stress responses in the body.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both clinical and holistic, with a strong focus on the mind-body connection. I help clients understand how early trauma, chronic stress, or abuse can shape not only emotional patterns, but also how the body responds over time. Many clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or dealing with persistent emotional or physical symptoms that have deeper roots.

Therapy with me goes beyond symptom management. We work to uncover underlying patterns, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My style is direct, compassionate, and collaborative—I will support you while also gently challenging you to grow.

I am especially passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves, understand their internal experiences more clearly, and move from survival-based patterns into a more grounded, empowered way of living.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we will begin by discussing what brings you to therapy and what you would like to see change. I will ask focused questions to understand your current concerns, your history, and any patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing.

Because I take a holistic approach, we may also explore how stress, past experiences, or trauma are showing up not only emotionally, but in your body and daily life.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. My role is to guide the session, help you organize what may feel overwhelming, and begin identifying areas we can work on together.

By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of the direction of therapy and what next steps may look like.
