Great to meet you!

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, you don't have to face it alone. I'm Glenda Turcios Galeano, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). I help trauma survivors and individuals from Latinx and multicultural communities heal in a space that recognizes and respects the cultural context of their lives. You deserve a therapist who understands your experiences without requiring you to translate them culturally or literally. My goal is to provide a supportive, affirming environment where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.

My approach to therapy

I offer a direct, grounded, and culturally responsive approach to therapy that honors both your individual experiences and the communities that have shaped you. Working in English and Spanish, I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support healing from trauma, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and foster lasting emotional well-being. My multicultural background informs my work and helps me create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another without pressure, judgment, or a set agenda. We'll start where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable as we explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Healing is possible, and you deserve care that honors your unique experiences and meets your needs. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to connect with you.
