Great to meet you!

Mental health is a bigger challenge than most people realize — and if you've found your way here, you already know that. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner serving adults and older adults across Maryland, both in person and via telehealth, and I'm here to help you find your way through it.

My approach to therapy

My work centers on three areas where I've built deep expertise over the years: adult and geriatric psychiatry, cognitive therapy, and medication management. I take medication decisions seriously — they're never one-size-fits-all — and I bring a wealth of experience helping patients find the right balance for their lives.

Many of the people I work with come to me carrying a familiar weight: a sadness they can't shake, a guilt that follows them everywhere, and a frustrating loss of joy in things that used to matter. If that sounds like you, I want you to know — you're not broken, and you don't have to keep feeling that way.

What you can expect from me

My approach is direct, open-minded, and yes, occasionally humorous. I'll be honest with you about what I'm seeing and what I think will help, but I'll never make you feel judged for where you are. My greatest personal strength is listening — really listening — and patients often tell me that simply feeling heard is itself part of the healing.

When I'm not with patients, you'll find me in the garden, building Legos (seriously), or being very thoroughly supervised by my dogs.

If you're ready to talk, I'm ready to listen.
