Great to meet you!

Growing up in Ghana, talk therapy and mental illness was not a subject of discussion in my culture. I became fascinated with talk therapy during my college years in America. I have over 15yrs experience in behavioral health and have worked with with adults with serious mental illnessess, children, families and groups.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to assess the clients' needs and strengths. My Treatment modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to treat Anxiety, Depression, Gender Identity, relationship conflict and divorce.

What you can expect from me

My style of therapy is to utilize various approaches to maintain a level of awareness to specific presented problems. Being comfortable, and vulnerable is the therapeutic relationship I aim to build. I am very much an outcome driven therapist who allows the client to come to their own conclusions. I like giving tasks and small steps that are measurable and attainable.
