Great to meet you!

I am a therapist who values depth, honesty, and genuine connection. My work is shaped by a strong commitment to social justice, identity-affirming care, and understanding the ways power, culture, and lived experience influence mental health. I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged where you can show up fully without needing to edit yourself.

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and grounded. I believe in transparency and collaboration, and I take seriously the responsibility of holding complex stories with care. Whether you are navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationship struggles, or major life transitions, I approach our work with curiosity, respect, and a belief in your capacity for growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in a feminist existential framework. This means we look beyond symptom reduction to explore meaning, identity, agency, and the systems that shape your experience. Together, we examine patterns in relationships, attachment dynamics, and coping strategies while building greater self-awareness and emotional regulation.

I integrate insight-oriented exploration with practical tools, helping clients develop both understanding and actionable change. Therapy with me is collaborative and process-focused we move at a pace that honors your nervous system while still engaging the deeper work necessary for lasting transformation.

If you’d like these tightened up, softened, or made more niche-specific (e.g., trauma-heavy, sex and sexuality focused, couples-oriented), I can tailor them further.

What you can expect from me

Our first session begins with a formal intake process. We will review relevant background information, including your mental health history, current concerns, relationships, medical considerations, and goals for therapy. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your context and ensures we are working from a thoughtful, informed foundation.

After the intake portion, we transition into regular therapeutic work. While the first session often includes more structured questions, there is always space for you to share what feels most pressing. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting feeling both understood and oriented to how we will work together.

Therapy with me is collaborative and transparent. We will clarify expectations, discuss pacing, and identify initial areas of focus so that you feel grounded moving forward. You are welcome to ask questions at any point about the process, about me, or about what therapy may look like going forward.
