Great to meet you!

I graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work in 2019 and have worked as a social worker and bilingual therapist in many contexts. I have significant experience working with survivors of interpersonal and oppression-based traumas, particularly sexual violence, intimate partner violence, trafficking, and migration. I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), integrative somatic therapies, and EMDR.

My approach to therapy

The most important ingredient to therapy is the quality of the collaborative relationship we create together! I use a feminist lens and an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy. My belief in the power of human relationships to facilitate healing and change is fundamental to my work as a therapist–when individuals heal and grow, we collectively heal and grow and make more space in ourselves and in this world for love to thrive.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and for me to learn a little more about who you are and what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your history, your present-day (the good, the bad, and the in-between), and set some goals for our work together.
