Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Graham, and I was born and raised in England but have lived in the USA all my adult life In my practice I concentrate on Positive Psychology: looking for routes to increased happiness through changing beliefs and behavior. Humor, directness and optimism are key to my approach, together with a concentration on the drama and roles we play in life. Drama therapy naturally grew out of my first career as an actor, director and theatre professor. My education includes a Doctorate from UC Berkeley and Counseling education at the University of Texas. Thank you for reading and I look forward to meeting with your soon.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is casual and conversational while assumptions are challenged. I believe in an active exchange between counselor and client rather than a monologue from either side.

What you can expect from me

A brief biography from the client, together with a discussion of what issues in particular they are looking to explore. I will give some of my background and a description of positive psychology - the search for happiness.
