Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have been counseling for 15 years and have worked with clients with many different life concerns including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, family conflicts and life changes just to name a few. I believe therapists are only wounded survivors with education and training, who seek to help their fellow person face life's difficulties. Just like you, I have faced hardship and continue to work every day towards a better self. I aim to provide my clients with an experience that puts them in a position to succeed. My space is a judgment-free zone, with work taken at your pace. I don’t have the magic solution to solve your problems, but I am well-equipped to help you find those answers within yourself. I encourage you to take a leap of faith for yourself, as life changes are achievable when individual ideas collide with positive actions.

My approach to therapy

I have a very eclectic counseling style. I have a unique ability to adapt my style/approach to meet the individual needs of each client. I am well versed in cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and reality therapy. I have worked with a very diverse population of clients in the past and ALL are welcome.

What you can expect from me

After discussing your background and what brings you to therapy, we’ll get into your goals. I invite my clients to dream freely– these hopes will help inform how we approach treatment.

I am able to work with just about anyone who is ready to make positive changes for lasting improvement. I hold unconditional positive regard for my clients and a deep empathy for their experiences. I’m very rarely shocked by what is brought up in session, and I cherish the connection developed between therapist and patient. I’ll keep it real with you as compassionately and directly as I can. This authentic approach is the catalyst for change, which I am proud to offer my clients.
