Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, stress, and personal growth. I also work with couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships.

My approach is supportive, practical, and conversational. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative process where clients can speak openly without judgment while also being challenged to grow and make meaningful changes. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and Gottman-informed couples work.

I have experience working with veterans, college students, individuals dealing with family stress or relationship conflict, and people struggling with motivation, self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a more stable and fulfilling life.

Clients often describe me as direct, calm, easy to talk to, and genuinely engaged in the therapy process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy works best when clients feel comfortable being honest while also feeling supported and challenged to grow. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly discuss difficult experiences, emotions, and relationships.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed approaches, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based techniques to help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. For couples, I incorporate Gottman-informed interventions focused on communication, conflict management, and emotional connection.

I believe insight is important, but real progress also comes from learning practical skills, improving coping strategies, and making meaningful behavioral changes outside of sessions. My goal is to help clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, improve relationships, and move toward a healthier and more balanced life.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a relaxed and supportive conversation focused on understanding what brings them to therapy, what challenges they are currently facing, and what goals they would like to work toward. I will ask questions about important areas of life such as relationships, stressors, emotional health, coping strategies, and personal history in order to develop a clearer understanding of the situation.

The first session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, discuss what they are looking for in therapy, and determine whether we are a good fit to work together. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and able to speak openly without judgment.

Together, we will begin identifying practical goals and develop a plan tailored to the client’s needs, strengths, and priorities.
