Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're managing anxiety and depression. Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful change. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 11 years of experience, I work with adults facing burnout, trauma, stress, grief, relationship challenges, career concerns, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood, and accepted. Together, we'll explore what's beneath the surface of your struggles while also building practical tools to help you navigate everyday life with greater confidence and ease. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. My hope is that you'll leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself, healthier ways of responding to life's challenges, and a stronger sense of resilience and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is focused on getting to know you and developing a deeper understanding of your unique experiences and concerns. We'll review your personal, medical, mental health, and family history, explore the challenges that led you to seek therapy, and begin identifying your strengths and goals. During the first several sessions, we'll work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs and priorities. I also provide education about the therapeutic process and recommended treatment approaches, while creating plenty of space for you to ask questions so you feel informed, comfortable, and actively involved in your care from the very beginning.

Before scheduling a first appointment, I encourage prospective clients to participate in a complimentary 15-minute consultation call. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any initial questions, and determine whether we're a good fit for working together.
