I’m Gwen Harris, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 7 years of experience in trauma-focused care and 18 years of leadership in helping people navigate life’s challenges. My work centers on supporting teens, couples, and families in building resilience and emotional well-being. I’m passionate about creating a safe, affirming space where healing can begin and hope can grow.
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, integrating evidence-based practices such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques. I believe that healing happens through connection, understanding, and practical tools that fit your unique needs. My style is compassionate, structured when needed, and always guided by your goals.
You can expect to leave sessions with greater clarity, practical coping skills, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to take steps toward lasting change.
