Great to meet you!

I am a Ph.D. level psychologist, treating all types of anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, relational challenges, and developmental issues. My theoretical orientation is primarily psychodynamic and is influenced by prior graduate study in Buddhism and Eastern philosophical concepts and practices. I work virtually with individuals (and couples) from early adolescence to late adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively with clients to develop a deep understanding of their presenting problems using a psychodynamic framework and actively promote change using a wide range of psychological approaches and techniques. My style is to be fully present, with sessions tending to be interactive, exploratory, and focused. I value the impact of culture and society on psychological experience and am deeply committed to equity and social justice.

What you can expect from me

Over the first few sessions, we assess presenting problems, obtain client history and background, and evaluate any other issues needing focus. During this process, we clarify the treatment approach and goals and determine if my practice is a good fit for the client. Book a consultation online or contact me at [email protected] for an alternative time.
