Great to meet you!
Hello! My name is Hanna Angst, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan. I graduated from Central Michigan University with my Master of Arts in Counseling in 2024.
For the past two years, I have worked as a Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health Counselor, as well as a high school and elementary school counselor. I have a strong passion for helping individuals recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to feel more fulfilled and confident in their everyday lives.
I specialize in supporting preteens, high school students, and young adults ages 18–24 as they navigate anxiety, personal growth, and major life changes and transitions. My areas of expertise include anxiety, life transitions, school-related concerns, ADHD, anger management, autism, behavioral concerns, burnout, depression, emotional regulation, family conflict, grief, education and learning disabilities, neurodivergence, self-esteem, self-harm, and stress.
I practice exclusively online through confidential video sessions, providing flexibility for clients with busy or unpredictable schedules. During each session, we will build upon your existing strengths while working together to develop healthy habits, identify and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking, and create actionable steps toward your therapeutic goals. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your journey.
