Great to meet you!

I am Hannah Orozco – Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I believe that everyone can benefit from counseling! My hope is to provide a calming and affirmative place for you to promote healing and empowerment and initiate the positive growth and change you want in your life. In my 15 years of experience, I have worked with clients from the age of 6-79, gaining experience in relationship issues, stress management, life transition, military lifestyle, women’s health, Complex PTSD, neurodivergence, infertility, anxiety, and other chronic conditions. Coming from a military family and cultural diverse background, I understand the challenges we sometimes face and how much we need a strong support system, as well as adequate coping skills to build strong resilience.

My approach to therapy

Everyone’s story is unique and deserves care that fits you and your needs. I adopt a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with you as my client to determine goals for counseling. We will explore past experiences as well as current circumstances that contribute to your concerns and challenges. I offer a fresh perspective, valuing respect, honesty, and acceptance to create a safe space to find solutions and heal hold wounds. I work from an attachment-based and strength-based orientation, using techniques of Internal Family Systems, Expressive Art Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and other mindfulness therapies. Allow me to assist you in leading a life free from worry, stress, or disappointment.

What you can expect from me

Once we decide to work together, we will start with an intake session where you will have the opportunity to share your story, get to know each other, and explore what you hope to achieve in therapy. We will team up to figure current challenges and find goals that help you be the best version of yourself. From there, we will work together in the sessions that follow to engage in self-exploration, create movement, health, and growth.
