Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Hannah! Born and raised in North Carolina and proud graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2022 and in VA undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2018.

For the past six years, I’ve worked in community mental health and have spent nearly two years in private practice. I’ve supported teens and adults through crisis, addiction, suicide prevention, trauma, and life transitions and I genuinely care about helping people feel steady, understood, and empowered again.

My approach blends evidence-based therapies like CBT, trauma-focused work, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and somatic interventions. That means we don’t just talk about what’s hard we build practical tools, process what’s been weighing on you, and create real movement forward.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in compassion. I would truly be honored to walk alongside you in this season.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients using a warm, loving, and affirming approach, creating a safe and caring space where they feel fully accepted. I specialize in trauma-informed care, integrating techniques from many modalities to support anxiety and depression, OCD, Trauma and more, all while honoring each person’s unique experiences and needs. My style is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on building trust and resilience. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, which allows me to tailor interventions specifically to each client’s goals and preferences. My priority is helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect to feel safe, affirmed, and accepted exactly as you are.

My priority is creating a space where there is no judgment- only curiosity, compassion, and respect. Whatever you’re carrying, whatever your story holds, you are welcome here. You don’t have to filter yourself or have everything figured out before you walk in.

Our first meeting is about getting to know you. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been navigating, and what you hope might feel different in your life. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to-we move at your pace.
