Great to meet you!

"Let’s work together to discover the most important person—YOU!" I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, and PTSD. With 29 years of nursing experience, I work with clients ages 12 and up, including extensive experience working with Veterans.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing Education, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

My goal is to create a non judgemental, safe, trusting therapeutic relationship—one where you can release past hurts, rediscover your strengths, and embrace the importance of caring for yourself.

My appointments are all virtual and available during non conventional times for the working person with evening and weekend appointments. Trying to offer dates and times that do not interfere with your work time. I have experience with working with those who have served our country- Veterans.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing starts with a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Together, we will create a personalized plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

I use a holistic, evidence-based approach that may include:

  • Behavior modification strategies to help you change unhelpful patterns and develop healthier habits.
  • Counseling and supportive therapy to process difficult emotions, work through past experiences, and build coping skills.
  • Medication management, when appropriate, to support symptom relief and improve daily functioning.

My work is grounded in collaboration and trust—you are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to guide and support you. Whether you are managing anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, or adjusting to life changes, my goal is to help you feel empowered, regain control, and prioritize your well-being.

What you can expect from me

When you work with me, you can expect to leave each session with:

  • Practical tools you can use right away to manage anxiety, depression, grief, or PTSD.
  • A deeper understanding of how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect—and how to shift them in ways that help you heal.
  • Improved coping skills for handling stress, navigating challenges, and maintaining emotional balance.
  • A renewed sense of self-worth and the confidence to make choices that support your mental and physical health.
  • Greater clarity about your goals, priorities, and next steps in life.
  • A safe space where you feel respected, understood, and supported without judgment.

My hope is that you will leave each appointment feeling heard, empowered, and equipped—with both immediate strategies and long-term tools to help you thrive and understand how important you are.
