Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in North Carolina and have been practicing for more than 14 years as a therapist to support individuals, couples and families, ages 6 to aging adults, with a wide array of concerns including depression, anxiety, phobias, interpersonal relationships & conflict resolution, parenting and family issues. I have also assisted many clients seeking therapy for behavior change strategies, addressing various traumatic experiences & PTSD , Veterans issues, and eating disorders/body issues.

My approach to therapy

As a strength-based, person-focused therapist, I seek to cultivate a therapeutic relationship based upon collaboration, unconditional positive regard, and authentic human connection. We will employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Interventions.

What you can expect from me

Our approach will be individualized for you and the plan we create. Identifying measurable goals and regularly assessing progress will highlight your successes at each step, building momentum to keep moving towards your goals even when things feel hard. As a neutral guide, I will support you to explore your relationship with yourself and others more fully and provide the safe space needed for open communication and authenticity.
