Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in understanding relationships, both with yourself and with others. I graduated from a psychology doctoral program in 2004 and have worked at psychiatric and health rehabilitation hospitals, community mental health center, and long term care facilities, treating adolescents, adults and seniors. I have had a full- time private practice for over 15 years.

Please call or text me at 202-251-5197 if you would like to talk about what you need or to make an appointment.

My approach to therapy

My training and practice is psychodynamic, which focuses on understanding how you are feeling in the moment, and making connections between your past and present. The people I work are feeling emotional pain and tend to struggle with mood disorders, relationship issues, loneliness, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing intense feelings.

What you can expect from me

We will start with an initial appointment so I can hear more about what brings you to therapy and you can understand what I offer. Then I can make recommendations for your treatment. If you agree to a course of therapy, we can develop treatment goals together.
