Great to meet you!

As a therapist, my goal is to help you navigate the challenges and stumbling blocks that may be preventing you from living the fulfilling life you deserve. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be heard with empathy and understanding. Together, we’ll work on building coping skills, exploring strategies for personal growth, and connecting you with the resources you need to achieve your goals.

My decision to become a therapist is deeply personal. Having experienced trauma and adversity myself, I understand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel — and how transformative it can be to have someone walk beside you on your journey. I truly believe it is never too late to make meaningful, positive changes, and it is always okay to ask for help. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to fit you — not the other way around. Because everyone’s needs and experiences are different, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the situation, issue, or goals we’re working on. There’s no one-size-fits-all method, so I often blend different techniques to create a plan that supports your unique journey toward healing and growth.

Some of the approaches I commonly use include:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to help identify and change unhelpful thought patterns.

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to build self-compassion and flexibility while working toward what matters most to you.

• Motivational Interviewing (MI) – to strengthen motivation and confidence in making meaningful changes.

• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) – to help process and heal from trauma.

• Social Rhythm Therapy (SRT) – to support emotional balance through healthy daily routines.

• Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to help explore and heal the different parts of yourself with compassion.

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance skills.

• IMAGO Therapy & Integrative Couples and Sex Therapy – to help couples reconnect and communicate more deeply.

• Sensate Focus Sex Therapy – to rebuild intimacy and strengthen emotional and physical connection.

No matter which approach we use, the focus is always on creating a safe, supportive space where you can grow, heal, and build a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

I will provide you with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Your experiences matter, and I’ll work to ensure they are heard and validated. Together, we’ll explore what you hope to gain from therapy, set meaningful goals, and, when appropriate, establish a clear understanding of any diagnoses. Most importantly, we’ll focus on how therapy can help you create real, positive changes in your life
