Great to meet you!

Hey there, I’m a Baltimore native and I’ve been working in nonprofit agencies and community mental health for 10 years. I am a LCPC in the state of Maryland. I graduated from the University of Baltimore with an M.S. in Applied Psychology (Counseling) in 2013. I am trained in EMDR and I have presented at international and national conferences on the benefits of trauma informed group counseling. I belong to the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).

My approach to therapy

My focus at Connected Counseling, LLC is to provide adults with the tools to tell their own story without reliving the trauma they’ve experienced. Through my work, I’ve noticed the impact of individual, collective, and generational trauma. It is my privilege to be a companion alongside the healing that occurs from deep attachment wounds and family of origin trauma. Approaches commonly used include psychodynamic, CBT, and EMDR

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, we’ll use a person-centered approach to collaborate on treatment goals and meet you where you're at when you come in. I hope that you feel seen, heard, and more connected to yourself.
