I work with children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma, trauma related issues, or have been victims of sexual abuse or assault struggle with substance use, or have aa loved one who is struggling with substance use. I strive to create a safe and comfortable space for people to share and process their stories and make the changes and growth that they are looking for.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and curiosity. I believe in meeting you right where you are without any judgement.
I am EMDR trained (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) TF-CBT certified (Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and use other evidence-based modalities to help clients on their journey. I offer telehealth across the state of Idaho, in person sessions and offer FREE 15 minute consultations.
The first session is me asking a lot of questions for me to get to know you, and really understand your therapeutic goals. I also want you to ask any questions you have or to address any concerns you have in the first session (and any session) so that we can begin with open communication.
