Great to meet you!

You have probably been trying to carry this on your own for a long time.

By the time most people get to therapy, they've tried everything they know to do. They've pushed through, stayed busy, distracted themselves, and replayed things over and over in their mind trying to figure them out, all the while telling themselves they should be able to handle it. Despite all of that effort, they still feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck.

A lot of people reach this point before they ask for help. Not because they're weak, but because they've been trying so hard to do it on their own. The truth is, some things are incredibly difficult to make sense of by ourselves.

I believe that most of what we struggle with makes sense when we understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped us. Together, we can begin to understand what's happening and why it has been so hard to move forward.

Therapy with me is not about fixing you. It's about making sense of what you're carrying and helping you create meaningful change. Understanding is important, but insight alone is not always enough. Together, we'll work toward a different way of relating to yourself, your emotions, your relationships, and the challenges that brought you here in the first place.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through understanding both our present experiences and the patterns shaped by the past.

I am EMDR trained and draw from attachment-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Rather than using one fixed method, I tailor therapy to what you need in the moment—sometimes focusing on insight and understanding, and other times building practical tools for managing emotions, thoughts, and relationships.

At the center of my work is curiosity: we slow things down enough to notice patterns, understand where they come from, and begin creating new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life you want.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping will be different.

You don’t need to prepare anything or share more than you feel comfortable with. My priority is that you feel safe, respected, and not rushed.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a shared sense of what you’d like to focus on and whether working together feels like a good fit.
