Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a dynamic, collaborative process that yields real-world results. My practice is built on a foundation of academic excellence and specialized training, including a BA in Psychology from University of Southern California and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Utah.

My Therapeutic Toolkit: Evidence-Based & Proactive

I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I blend several powerful, evidence-based modalities to help you achieve your goals quickly and effectively:

  • ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): A specialized approach for trauma and PTSD that uses eye movements to "reprogram" distressing memories and sensations, often providing relief in just a few sessions.
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): We will work together to identify and shift the thought patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression.
  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): I provide practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and improving relationships—giving you a "manual" for navigating life's hardest moments.

My approach to therapy

If you are looking for a therapist who will "jump in" from day one, we will be a great fit. My style is active, engaged, and focused on momentum.

  • Tangible Tools: Our 50–60 minute sessions are designed to give you immediate strategies. You won’t leave a session wondering, "What do I do now?"
  • Purposeful Homework: To bridge the gap between our meetings, I frequently provide reflections or skills practice. This ensures your growth continues 24/7, not just during our hour together.
  • Convenient & Secure: All telehealth sessions are held via Doxy.me, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform that brings expert care directly to you.

What you can expect from me

Starting a new journey can feel like a big step, so I want you to know exactly what to expect when we meet for the first time. Our initial 50–60 minute session is primarily about connection and understanding, but we won’t just be looking backward—we’ll also be looking forward.

1. Connection and History

We’ll spend some time discussing what brought you here today. I want to hear your story, understand your current challenges, and get a sense of what you hope to achieve through our work together.

2. "Jumping In" With Tools

While it’s important to understand the background, I believe in providing value from the very first meeting. I like to "jump in" early, so we will likely begin discussing tangible coping skills right away. My goal is for you to leave our first session with a bit more clarity and a few tools already in your kit.

3. Purposeful Homework

To keep the momentum going between appointments, I often provide "homework" or small, manageable reflections for you to focus on before our next session. This helps us bridge the gap between our meetings and ensures that our work translates into your daily life.

4. Logistics and Next Steps

Before we wrap up, we will briefly cover the "housekeeping" items:
