Great to meet you!

Hi! I have a strong background in Forensic Psychology and have worked in the mental health field since 2004. I have had the privilege of serving a diverse range of clients from various ethnicities, racial backgrounds, and socioeconomic classes. My approach is non-judgmental, patient, and easy-going, creating a safe space where you can feel heard and understood. With many years of experience working in correctional settings, particularly with individuals in acute crisis, I am passionate about helping you navigate challenges, find solutions, and work towards lasting positive change. My goal is to empower you to take control of your well-being and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is having worked with individuals in crisis from all walks of life. I’ve developed the ability to see people for who they truly are, beyond their circumstances, and nothing surprises me. I’m crisis-oriented, adaptable, and focused on treating each person as an individual. My non-judgmental and patient approach helps me connect with clients, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported, no matter the issue they’re facing. I am confident in my ability to handle any situation and help clients move toward positive change.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions together, you can expect a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you’ll feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and concerns. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make it as easy and stress-free as possible. I’ll take the time to listen to your story, learn about the challenges you’re facing, and help you feel at ease. Together, we’ll explore your goals and begin identifying practical steps to move forward. Whether you’re in a crisis or simply seeking support, my focus will be on providing you with the tools and understanding to feel empowered and confident as we work together toward positive change.
