I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a clinical background in midwifery and women’s health. I have advanced training in reproductive psychiatry, including Perinatal Mental Health certification through Postpartum Support International. In addition to women’s mental health conditions like PMDD and postpartum depression, I treat adults with mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD and ADHD.
My approach is to be curious and thorough, in order to get to know you and your concerns. I value your experience and perspective. Our sessions should feel safe, informative and individualized. In addition to medication management, I incorporate education and supportive therapy to enhance outcomes. If you have an individual therapist, I can coordinate with them as desired.
Our first visit will include a comprehensive assessment of your background, family history, and personal medical and psychiatric history. It’s helpful to understand any past treatments including what has or has not worked for you in the past. Treatment plans can include medication, lab testing, lifestyle changes, and therapy.
