Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based mental health settings, and for the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students and families in the public school system. Most recently, I’ve also served as a group facilitator for an intensive outpatient program, helping people find hope and healing in a supportive environment.

I believe that every person is the expert in their own life, and sometimes all we need is someone to truly listen, help clear our minds, and offer a fresh perspective. My goal is to walk alongside those who are struggling and help them find freedom, hope, and joy. I’ve seen my share of life’s challenges, and I know that healing is possible, and that change is always within reach.

Overall about me... I’m a Christian, wife, mom, friend, and neighbor. I raise dairy goats and love animals, taking care of my family and volunteering in my community. I value creativity, open-mindedness, and resilience—and I bring all of that into my work. I am committed to helping others live their best lives, embrace gratitude, and discover the possibility for positive change, no matter what their circumstances may be. I will help you find peace in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is multimodal because I believe every emotion matters and deserves attention. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, somatic and strengths-based techniques to support clients in building resilience and finding clarity. I also draw on mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and relational approaches, tailoring my work to meet each person where they are. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change in their lives. Teaching somatic based skills for distress tolerance is a therapeutic form I enjoy.

What you can expect from me

You will leave sessions with practical skills and tools you can use in your everyday life to manage stress, navigate challenges, and cope with difficult emotions. You will have a safe, supportive space to explore your feelings, gain clarity, and develop new perspectives. Over time, you may discover a softened, more compassionate sense of self, increased self-awareness, and greater resilience. You will leave feeling empowered, hopeful, and equipped to make meaningful changes while embracing your own strengths and possibilities.
