Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and pregnancy & postpartum changes. As a dually licensed therapist and addiction specialist, I have worked in community mental health for 14yrs in a variety of settings and had the honor to walk alongside a diverse range of people in their healing journey. I believe healing happens in the context of safety, trust, and connection. Together we will find the right balance of the "why" and "what now." My ideal client comes with an open-mindedness and curiosity to explore themselves and are motivated to practice experiential activities both in and outside the session.

My approach to therapy

I primarily utilize Acceptance & Commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and somatic interventions such as yoga and EMDR. Our work together will be tailored to fit your unique needs. I want you to feel safe while also challenged / stretched. My style is informal, honest, compassionate, with humor, and grounded in respect for your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session or two, we will complete a diagnostic assessment so I can understand the bigger clinical picture. From there we will talk in more personal and practical terms about what brings you to therapy and what you want to change. We will then map out your personal goals, and identify a few immediate, practical tools to help you find relief right away.
