Great to meet you!

I'm an OCD and anxiety specialist — and I'm also someone who lives with OCD. I know what it's like to understand the condition on paper and still have your own brain hit you with a very convincing "yeah, but what if?" That tension is real, and I get it from the inside.

I work with people navigating OCD (intrusive thoughts, contamination fears, scrupulosity, and more), anxiety, panic, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and hoarding disorder. I especially enjoy working with folks who are ready to stop letting anxiety and uncertainty take up so much space in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to you. I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD, and also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based approaches.

I'm not here to tell you to "just stop worrying" or convince you that everything is going to be okay. Instead, we'll work together to help you get more comfortable with uncertainty, change how you respond to anxiety, and make choices based on what matters to you, not what fear tells you to do. I'll challenge you when you need it, cheer you on along the way, and if humor is your jam, there will definitely be plenty of that too.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what’s been going on. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, how OCD or anxiety has been showing up in your life, and what you’re hoping will be different.

You don’t need to come prepared, have everything figured out, or know exactly what to say. And when it comes to intrusive thoughts, there is NO judgment here. You can bring the scary ones, the weird ones, the ones you’re embarrassed to say out loud - all of it.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. From there, we’ll work together to identify your goals and create a plan that actually makes sense for you and your life.
