Great to meet you!
I am a licensed therapist through the state of Maryland and have been working in the field of human services since 2017. My education at University of Maryland Baltimore provided me with a strong foundation in therapeutic theory, ethical practice and evidence based approaches to mental health and wellbeing. I have a strong background in working with clients navigating depression, stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma and other challenges. With my background as a mental health crisis co-responder in the community and emergency settings, I also specialize in supporting first responders and healthcare workers in addressing work related trauma, chronic stress, burnout, high-pressure environments and how these experiences affect life at home (lasting impacts on personal wellbeing, relationships, regaining a sense of safety and ability to "switch off" when that shift is over). I recognize that seeking help can feel unfamiliar, particularly in feilds where resilience is highly valued. This is a confidential space where we can work together at a face that feels manageable and begin meaningful change by building on your strengths.
