Great to meet you!

I love helping people deal with transitions, recognizing that no matter how great or how awful, transitions offer us a chance to develop deeper self-awareness. As I was walking my dog, Lexi, today, I was thinking of this bio and had to chuckle. One of the gifts in my life is that I have had so many transitions, so many moments when I got to re-vision my sense of myself. So its no wonder I love helping others love themselves through their changes.

My approach to therapy

Are you going through a transition in your career, relationships, family? You're a leader, but feel uncertain. Perhaps you don't like your job, but are afraid to rock the boat. Are you retiring and don't know what's next? Maybe you are leaving, starting, or struggling in a relationship and want to do it "right" this time. Our past experiences create our lenses of fear or excitement about the future. Knowing your old patterns will help you to create the life YOU want now.

What you can expect from me

I work in person and on telepsych (in 40 states under PsyPact). I use testing to have a "jumpstart" on getting to know you: the MBTI, FIRO/B and Strong Interest Inventory. My clients get new insights into what is going right and what they want to change. The tests help us both make sense of things throughout our work together. Clients recognize that there are logical reasons for things they judge themselves about. Their lives make more sense and they feel more in charge.
