Hunter Garrett

Hi! I'm so glad you're here. I’m Hunter Garrett, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to partnering with children, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s hardest seasons. I have spent my career in a diverse variety of clinical settings and environments, working with patients from all backgrounds. I completed my advanced training at Vanderbilt University, where I focused on compassionate and holistic, evidence-based mental health care. Those experiences shaped my belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and treated with genuine respect.

In my practice, I take a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach. Together, we’ll explore what’s been getting in the way of you or your child feeling like yourselves- whether that’s anxiety, depression, attention and focus concerns, mood changes, or the impact of stress and trauma.

I believe mental health care should support the whole person- not just a diagnosis. That means we’ll talk about sleep, school or work stress, relationships, and what brings meaning to your life. We'll take a collaborative approach to thoroughly address any presenting mental health challenges you may be facing.
