Great to meet you!

Welcome!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore life’s challenges while building the skills and confidence needed to move forward. I work collaboratively with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, self-esteem challenges, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties. I believe every individual has unique strengths, and together we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, goals, and values. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and direct. I strive to balance empathy with practical, evidence-based strategies that help clients create meaningful and lasting change. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, adapting each session to what works best for you.I am committed to providing culturally responsive, affirming care and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I believe everyone deserves to feel accepted, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Whether you’re seeking support during a difficult season, working through past experiences, strengthening relationships, or striving for personal growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Therapy is a partnership, and together we can work toward helping you feel more balanced, resilient, and connected to the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every person has unique experiences, strengths, and goals, so I tailor treatment to meet each client’s specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring challenges and working toward meaningful change.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies to improve your emotional well-being and relationships.

I view therapy as a partnership. While I provide guidance, support, and clinical expertise, you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and purpose. My goal is to empower you with tools that support lasting growth both inside and outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my priority is getting to know you and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and discuss confidentiality, expectations, and the counseling process. Together, we’ll begin identifying your strengths, establish meaningful goals, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

By the end of the first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we’ll work together and leave with a sense of direction, support, and hope for the journey ahead. My goal is for you to feel welcomed, understood, and confident that therapy is a collaborative process focused on helping you achieve meaningful, lasting change.
