Great to meet you!

Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety or depression, navigating relationship challenges, exploring your identity, or feeling caught between cultures. Maybe you’re carrying the effects of racial or cultural experiences, painful relationships, or complex trauma. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I’m Dr. Huy Le, a licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist in Minnesota and Texas. With over 17 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, deepen your self-understanding, and find a path forward that feels right for you. As a Vietnamese American immigrant, my own cultural background and lived experiences shape how I connect with clients and approach therapy. I value the unique story each person brings and believe you should feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, learning about different cultures, and appreciating the many ways we experience and make meaning of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in relationships, creating a foundation for connection, healing, and growth. Through a multicultural lens, I honor each client’s unique identity, experiences, and values. I strive to empower clients to build on their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, discover their potential, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll begin with introductions and have a conversation to get to know each other, allowing you to learn more about me, both professionally and personally, and my approach to therapy, while giving me an opportunity to learn about you and what brings you to therapy. From there, I’ll ask a series of questions to help me better understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you remain in control of what you choose to share and how we navigate our sessions together. Toward the end of our session, we’ll discuss possible next steps, including what moving forward in therapy might look like, the treatment approach that may best fit your needs, and scheduling future sessions if you decide we’re a good fit.
