Great to meet you!
My background in mental health began while I was in nursing school, working as personal care staff in a group home for individuals with autism. That fulfilling experience inspired me to dedicate my career to mental health care upon graduation. Over the next twelve years, I gained extensive inpatient psychiatric nursing experience, spending eight years in a forensic unit and four years in a community hospital setting.
In 2018, I earned my Doctorate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Maryland. Since then, I have practiced as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across multiple states, including Maryland, Virginia, Minnesota, and Massachusetts. Throughout my career, I have delivered care across a wide variety of clinical settings, including school-based programs, mobile treatment teams, day hospitals, and home-based geriatric programs.
I firmly believe that the best clinical outcomes stem from a collaborative approach that actively involves clients in developing their own treatment plans. Currently, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management to individuals across the lifespan.
